The number one radar detector app from France, Belgium, and Italy has finally arrived in Spain. Coyote Systems, the leader in road information with a real-time connected community, is now offering iPhone users a driver assistance app.
Requirements:
- Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
- Requires iOS 3.1.3 or later.
What's new in version 4.2:
- iOS4 or higher multitasking management: Allows you to run different applications at the same time as iCoyote.
- It merges the quality of the Coyote community.
- Add a map that allows you to view speed cameras and traffic incidents within a 15 km radius;
- Visual and sound application for traffic light radars:
- Secondary road mode improvement: Creation of a dynamic radius that tells you in real time the number of explorers around you within a radius of 1 to 15 km.
- It adds a road safety message that encourages you to take a break after 2 hours of driving.
- Night mode
- Motorcycle mode
- Retina resolution for the iPhone 4.
The activation process requires a valid email address. This is to allow iCoyote users to maintain the quality of the Coyote database.
Continuous use of GPS in "background" mode can significantly reduce battery life.
12V power cable and vehicle mount recommended.
Radar detectors have been banned in some countries (Switzerland, Germany…), it is your responsibility to check if the use of iCoyote is permitted in the country you are in.
