How to Install iRec (to record screen on iDevice) without Jailbreak
iRec is an application that is used to record the device screenHowever, since it's not hosted on the App Store, we'll need to use an unofficial method to install this app on our device without jailbreaking.
Cydia Impactor is essential in this procedure since we will be installing an application in IPA format, and it is important to note that its certificate will last 7 days.
After the 7-day period is over, it must be reinstalled in the same way as before.

Alternatives for recording the device screen
The best alternatives are available on Cydia; however, only jailbroken users can use these apps. Other apps like AirShou and other alternatives worked to some extent, but with the system update, Apple has forced developers to update their apps to optimize them for the system, as they are no longer compatible.
How to install iRec on an iOS device (with or without jailbreak)?
- From your PC, download the iRec IPA file. HERE
- Download Cydia Impactor HERE
- Connect the device to the PC
- Run Cydia Impactor
- Drag the downloaded file to the Cydia Impactor program.
- Enter your Apple ID and password to install iRec
What to do after installing iRec?
On the device, perform the following steps:
- Go to the settings app
- Go to the General section and click "Profile Management/Device Administration"
- Select your Apple ID and grant permissions to the iRec application.
How to use iRec?
Simply name the recording and then access the control center to start recording using AirPlay. To stop recording, open the iRec app and confirm. Recordings are saved to your camera roll and can be shared later on your favorite social network.
