Exciting new updates! Apple has just released the third developer beta for iOS 17, macOS Sonoma, and many other platforms. This news has generated

This has caused quite a stir in the developer community and among Apple users in general. In this article, we'll tell you all the details about this latest beta version and what you can expect from it.

iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 beta 3 for developers

Apple today released the third betas of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Registered developers can access the new betas by opening the Settings app or going to the Software Update section. Note that to download and install the beta, you need an Apple ID associated with a developer account.

And although only five days have passed since Apple released the second beta of iOS 17, we assume that iOS 17 beta 3 comes with new features:

  1. As part of what are likely broader additions, Apple has added full credits (such as artists, composers, lyricists, writers, etc.) to most of the songs and albums hosted on Apple Music. This means that by tapping an artist's name, the user can access a list of other songs and albums the artist has worked on, in addition to the selected track.
  2. The changes to Apple Music accreditation are also visible in iPadOS 17 beta 3. However, they don't yet appear to be available in macOS Sonoma beta 3.
  3. The Photos app icon in the iMessage app now displays the most recent photo from your library in iOS 17 beta 3.
  4. New welcome screen "What's New" to the Home app.
  5. As well as an updated scrolling interface to adjust the color of the multicolor lights.
  6. There is also a new icon option for garage doors.
  7. In the Settings app, under "Depth Control," it's now a standalone option within "Preserve settings." Previously, it was grouped under "Creative controls."

And although more changes have appeared in iOS 17 beta 3, we are in the process of cataloging and documenting them all. So stay tuned for an update to our article in the coming hours.

On the other hand, although today's beta is limited to developers, Apple confirmed that there will be a public beta in July. Meanwhile, the official launch of iOS 17 is scheduled for September.
