iOS 4.1 With a new bug detected
Hello iPhone user, a major security flaw in iOS 4.1 allows you to make phone calls even when the phone is locked.
Apparently, a security flaw can be found in iOS 4.1.
When your iPhone is locked with a passcode, tap Emergency Call, then enter a non-emergency number, such as ###. Next, tap the Call button and immediately tap the Lock button. The Phone app should open, where you can view all your contacts, call any number, etc.
The iPhone that was discovered was already jailbroken, which could be the cause. Apparently, there was no guarantee that this would happen on an iPhone without a jailbreak.
Then, it was tried with another device on iOS 4.1, confirming the failure.
I believe the way to check is detailed above, as it provides more details on how to discover this fault.
Apple has apparently already been informed of the issue and will fix it, so it's expected in iOS 4.2.
