iOS 8 says goodbye to your camera roll.

Apple has restructured the way images or photos are displayed on your devices with iOS 8 , which has just been released to the public and has arrived with the new iPhone models, but it has generated some confusion among users and some incompatibility with third-party applications such as Facebook.

The iPhone camera roll has always been in the same place by default since its first appearance in San Francisco, which was presented by Steve Jobs; however, with the release of iOS 8 there was a change that has caused confusion and surprise among users.

Apple has now removed the location where your camera photos were stored. You must now navigate to the " Collections " option and then select " Photos ." " Collections " organizes your entire gallery based on when you captured the images, location, and date, making it easier to find and share them. However, this change has surprised many users who initially thought their photos had been deleted.

The " Collections " view can be a bit difficult to navigate when looking for recently taken photos. Therefore, Apple will display photos taken within the last 30 days in a new " Recently Added " album on the " Albums " tab.
