iOS 8 has security flaws that allow hackers to enter via Wi-Fi

Lately, Apple has been experiencing many failures and errors, and problems are getting out of hand, as was discussed yesterday regarding the security flaw in the new OSX Yosemite operating system, which they have not yet been able to fix, and now it's iOS 8 's turn.

A security flaw was discovered today in iOS 8 that allows hackers to gain access through a vulnerability in the Wi-Fi connection. Security researchers have discovered a problem that makes it possible to easily access any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch when within its Wi-Fi range.

Adi Sharabani and Yair Amit revealed this vulnerability in the first days of this year at RSA. The attack, dubbed " No iOS Zone ," can put anyone's privacy at risk, as any hacker who knows about this vulnerability can attack simply by being near the iOS 8 device.

"Nobody can take a router and create a Wi-Fi hotspot that forces people to connect to their network and then manipulate the traffic to make applications and the operating system crash," Sharabani said at the RSA security conference.

The attack is carried out using SSL certificates that are sent when using your Wi-Fi , but so far the technical details as such have not been revealed, making it a tough battle for Apple.

"The vulnerability has not been fully confirmed; however, we have decided to refrain from providing further information about the issue to ensure that iOS users are not exposed to malicious actors whose sole purpose is to target people and interfere in their lives," Apple experts stated.

Apple has certainly neglected security, something that could cost them dearly. In just one week, numerous security flaws have been reported; let's hope Apple takes action on security to prevent this from happening again.
