iOS is boring and Android is a total disaster according to Microsoft

Terry Myerson, head of Microsoft's Windows Phone division, has lashed out at the competition in a recent interview. In short, Terry didn't mince words and ultimately favored his own, as expected.

Regarding Apple, he said that iOS is boring, referring to the lack of innovation plaguing the Cupertino company, and concluding that Apple has lost a lot of ground to Samsung. As for Android, the Microsoft executive got straight to the point, saying verbatim that "it's a disaster."

He also had harsh words for Chrome OS and the recent Facebook Home app for Android, something we've already discussed. Finally, regarding Windows Phone, he noted that "it's performing well in some markets, where it even outperforms Apple's iPhone," emphasizing that they will seize every opportunity because "before you can be everywhere, you have to be in one place."

Finally, he clarified that Windows does not plan to launch its own smartphone, given that they would have to offer something that greatly differentiates them from other manufacturers.
