Will the new iPad be able to use iOS and OS X?

On the internet we have witnessed a large number of rumors about Apple and its products as well as other companies with which reality is not at all close and the ideas seem to be a little crazy, like the one that has been published in relation to the new iPad from Cupertino.

The company expects to launch its next iPad model very soon ; however, we know that it will only run the latest version of iOS, despite a very out-of-place rumor that has spread online indicating that the new tablet will have the ability to switch between both platforms, iOS and OS X.

This would be very interesting if it ever became a reality, but the desktop platform isn't designed for touch use. The rumor published in DigiTimes indicates that Apple is also testing two 12.9-inch iPads, one of which is a " 2-in-1 " that allows you to switch between operating systems depending on your activities.

Mass production is expected to begin next year, but at this point it's still unclear whether the company will bring one or both products to market. It's also important to mention that this source doesn't have a strong track record regarding Apple rumors , but now the question remains about the potential functionality of OS X for touchscreens.
