Apple's iPad leads web traffic in the US and Canada
A comprehensive analysis of tablet usage in North America has just been released . As usual, this report was published by Chikita Insights , who each year present an interesting chart clearly showing the advancements made by leading brands' devices and tablets over time.
On this occasion, one of the results that was visibly remarkable through a first graph, was the enormous growth that Apple's iPad represented with more than 77% in web traffic at the US and Canadian level.
According to this new report from Chitika Insights, the iPad is the most used device in the United States and Canada. Compared to last year's analysis, the percentage difference is minimal, as users continue to increase their use of these devices year after year.
On the other hand, the important and noteworthy point here is that, according to analysts' estimates, Apple's iPad has experienced significant growth , but compared to the percentage achieved throughout 2013, the decrease is minimal. It seems that the increase is due to the new generations that the company has released in recent years, improving the usability and appearance of its tablets to offer users a more efficient and better experience. However, we believe that the cost of these new devices is still working against the company.
Despite this, we still don't know if Apple will continue investing in improving its tablets . But the truth is, users still prefer using their iPads above all other devices. Finally, it's worth noting that Samsung achieved market share growth of 8,3%, Amazon 6,1%, while Google and Microsoft saw slight increases in their preferred market share compared to previous years.
