iPhone 4 is now available at Verizon

Hello iPhone fans! The iPhone 4, as you've all been waiting for, is now available for pre-order on Verizon's website. This seems to be a major step forward for Verizon. The only thing we know so far is that this iPhone has modified antennas, which prevent the problems experienced by previous iPhones. It also works with Verizon's CDMA networks, which are at 3G network speeds.

But also what we've all been waiting for: the unlocking of the iPhone 4.

At first glance it looks like an iPhone 4 as we know it, but the Verizon iPhone changes a little in appearance, it has a small modification in the location of the volume buttons due to the 4 CDMA antennas placed around it (the line that can be seen in the image just above the volume buttons), which could perhaps imply the use of different cases.

The interesting thing about this is that the iOS version it has is 4.2.5, WTF?, a different firmware version than the GSM version of the iPhone 4, which we all have for now, which could make a difference in future updates by iTunes.

Another interesting feature is the integration of tethering to share your 3G network with other devices, something that until now has only been possible if the device is jailbroken. In general, the plans from both AT&T and Verizon for the iPhone 4 give Verizon a certain advantage and make it more attractive—an excellent option for those who are tired of AT&T.
