iPhone 6 will improve battery life

New information is coming in from Asian supply and manufacturing chains regarding Apple's upcoming iPhone 6 launch , which is expected to address many complaints about battery consumption (including those criticized by Samsung in a new ad attacking Apple) that the iPhone 5S consumes too much battery and falls below average.

Increased battery size in the new iPhone 6 compared to its predecessor:

It has been revealed that the iPhone 6 (4,7-inch model) will offer up to 15% longer battery life than its predecessor, the iPhone 5S. While this improvement may not be enough for some and may not silence criticism of the iPhone, it is nonetheless a welcome upgrade.

" The iPhone 6 will incorporate a battery between 1800 and 1900mAh ," reported Sam Loveridge of Trusted Reviews, citing sources from Chinese media reports. "The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, which incorporate a 1570mAh battery, will see this increase to 1800/1900mAh, a significant upgrade, assuming the screen size and resolution remain the same."

Apple's iPhone 6 will likely reach consumers in mid- to late September in the US, Canada, and other major markets around the world, provided there are no setbacks and everything proceeds as planned.

Personal opinion:

Personally, I find the iPhone 5's battery capacity is smaller compared to other devices, but that doesn't mean its battery life is shorter. As an iPhone 5 owner, I find the battery lasts longer than that of other smartphones on the market that have larger batteries, but their power consumption is also higher, which means they actually last less time.
