Finding comparisons between different phones is quite common. When Apple released the iPhone 6, thousands of users began posting comparisons between the iPhone 5s and the new iPhone 6. The test involves calculating which device achieves the fastest Wi-Fi connection speed : the iPhone 6s Plus, with 802.11ac MIMO, and the iPhone 6 Plus, also with 802.11ac. Both devices were then restored to connect to the 2013 Apple AirPort Extreme using iOS 9.0.2 , the recently released version designed to address the LockScreen vulnerability.

Both devices were connected to the AirPort Extreme via a 5 GHz network . No other devices were connected to the wireless network during the test, and both downloads were performed at different times to ensure the objective was met. This resulted in a substantial improvement in connection speed compared to Apple's iPhone 5s, achieving a 33% increase in speed and range compared to the iPhone 6.

Apple claims the phone should get double the speed thanks to MIMO, however it's still far from that because it only gives us a little over 500 Mbps.
