iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 Beta access SSH over USB (OS 3.0)
Hello iPhone users, iPhone Tunnel Suite is an application that allows us to access SSH via USB cable on firmware 3.0. Several applications cause problems accessing SSH with firmware 3.0, but if you follow these steps, you can access the heart of your iPhone & iPod Touch without any issues.

Download iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7:
- Once the file is downloaded, we unzip and install it on our computer.
- We access this path on our PC: C:\Program Files\iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 BETA\iTunnel, our application is installed in this path.
We renamed the iTunesMobileDevice.dll file to “iTunesMobileDevice.dll_Original” and it looks like the image.
- Now we access the following path on our PC: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin
We copy the file iTunesMobileDevice.dll and copy it to the following path: C:\Program Files\iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 BETA\iTunnel and it should look like the image shown, now we have patched our application.
- Now we run the iPhone Tunnel Suite application on our PC.
In the Device section we select our model, in firmware nothing because version 3.0 doesn't appear, in size we enter the capacity of our device in Gigabytes and Network Put it exactly as shown in the image, otherwise I'll get so many comments saying it doesn't work for you and then click Save.
- Then this window will open:
- Pay attentionWe click on the Terminal button, a screen will open black We ignore it, you'll see how the status of Itunnel changes from Stopped to Running.
- We click on iConnect, here we only connect the iTunnel, no screen opens and the iTunnel status changes from Stopped to Running.
- We click on the File Browser button, the following window will open:
You will see Winscp appear at the top of the window; now we can do and undo things at the heart of our device.
