Hello iPhone users! Today I'm bringing you an iPhoneate gadget for Windows Vista & 7, so you can have direct chat on your desktop. I hope you like it and find it useful. Only the best at iPhoneate, where else?

The only requirement is to have Windows Vista or Windows 7, the version doesn't matter, and simply click on the file "Chat iPhoneate.gadget" and you're done.

    We unzip it, and inside we'll see a file called Chat iPhoneate.gadget. We double-click it, it will ask us to accept, we click "accept" and that's it.


    Note: It won't work with Windows XP; you'd need a program similar to Windows Sidebar, like... Thoosje Vista Sidebar.

    The installation process would be as follows if you did not have Windows Vista or 7 and were using Thoosje Vista Sidebar:

    • Rename the Chat iPhoneate.gadget file and change the extension to zip, so it would look like this: "Chat iPhoneate.zip".
    • You unzip it.
    • Three files with the extensions xml and html will be generated.
    • You create a new folder, for example "Chat".
    • Put the 3 files that came out when you unzipped the gadget into the folder you created.
    • Go to the programs folder on your hard drive and look for the Thoosje Vista Sidebar folder (the name may vary).
    • Inside, look for the folder called "gadgets", and paste the new folder you created.
    • Close the Thoosje Vista Sidebar and reopen it.
    • You should now have the iPhoneate gadget ready to use.
