Hello iPhone users, iH8sn0w has updated his popular Windows jailbreak tool, Sn0wbreeze. Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 has been updated to jailbreak the iOS 5 Master Gold version released after today's keynote.
This announcement from Sn0wbreeze follows an update from RedSn0w, which was also released to jailbreak iOS 5 GM.
New in this version:
- Instant IPSW detection
- There is no need to check the developer UDID
- It still has the capacity to hacktivate
- Retains iPhone baseband
This jailbreak can be done for all iDevices, except the iPad 2, which cannot be jailbroken on iOS 5 GM with Snowbreeze.
