Hello iPhone users, here's the solution for error 37 that appears when trying to restore the iPhone 3G with sn0wbreeze's custom firmware. The tutorial is very detailed; I hope it works for you. Remember that this tutorial is for Windows. Greetings from Honduras!

Requirements:

  • Do you have an iPhone 3g compatible with sn0wbreeze? If you don't know, read below to see the compatible devices.
  • You will need an original AT&T SIM card or any other compatible SIM card to activate it.
  • You need to have iOS 4.1 for your device; if you don't have it, download it here: https://iphoneate.com/firmware-ipad-iphone-ipod-touch/

Download the file folder (icarus504) containing sn0wbreeze, iReb, and f0recast

This jailbreak does not upgrade the baseband, so it is safe for those with an illegally jailbroken iPhone. (which depend on unlocking with ultrasn0w). It is also compatible with iPhone 2G & iPod Touch 1G, but there is no iOS 4.1 for these devices, so they have to be unlocked with versions prior to 4.0.

sn0wbreeze works for firmware 3.1.x, 4.0.x & 4.1

Compatible with iPhone 3g, iPod Touch 2g (no mc) & iPhone 3Gs (old boot) – – 6.4 is new boot.
