Jailbreak Tethered on iOS 6.1.3 with Redsn0w!!

 

Hello iPhone users, here's a tutorial on how to jailbreak Tethered.

Tethered jailbreaking means that when the device is turned off, it must boot into Just Boot with Redsn0w  

Compatible Devices:

For the iPhone 3GS Old Bootrom, the jailbreak will always be untethered : )

To find out which Bootrom your iPhone has, use iDetector.

Incompatible Devices:

• iPhone 5
• iPhone 4s
• iPod Touch 5G
• iPad 2
• iPad3
• iPad Mini
• iPad 4G Retina

Requirements:

• Obviously, it needs to be on iOS 6.1.3.
• Redsn0w 0.9.15 beta 3: Windows & Mac.
• iOS 6.0 corresponding to your device.
• iTunes latest version.

Processing:

1. The process is very simple, we all know it.
2. Download RedSn0w 0.9.15b3.
3. Download the iOS 6.0 firmware for your device.
4. Run RedSn0w 0.9.15b3 in administrator mode.
5. Click on the Extras button.
6. Select “Select IPSW”.
7. Look for the ipsw 6.0, downloaded in step 3.
8. Go back to the RedSn0w homepage and click on Jailbreak.
9. Next, we select only the "install Cydia" option and click "next".
10. Now put the device into DFU mode.
11. We are waiting for the process to end.

Just Boot Start:

1. Run RedSn0w 0.9.15b3 in administrator mode.
2. Click on Extras
3. Select “Select IPSW”.
4. Look for the ipsw 6.0, downloaded in step 3.
5. Next, click on Just Boot
6. Follow the instructions for the DFU.
7. We wait for the process to finish.

Once the device has booted up, we'll be on iOS 6.1.3 with a Tethered Jailbreak. Open Cydia, select Developer Options, and install the iPhoneate repo . Download AppSync 6 to install cracked apps. That's it! Enjoy your Tethered Jailbreak on iOS 6.1.3; it's better than nothing ;).

I recommend installing a tweak called RESPRING from Cydia; use this application every time your device asks to restart.
