Jailbreak Thetered for iOS 6.1 with Redsnow only iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4
Hello iPhoneate friends. I, "the wizard," present to you the Tethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1 (official version). We know that the Untethered Jailbreak will be released soon, but this jailbreak, using Redsn0w, works perfectly.
Requirements:
- Have a device with iOS 6.1 (if updating, do so via iTunes, NOT DIRECTLY FROM THE DEVICE)
- Have iOS 6.0 downloaded on your device (if you don't have it, you can download it at www.getios.com)
- Redsnow 0.9.15 b3
- Finally, we just need to follow the tutorial.

This Tethered Jailbreak is only compatible with
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
- iPod Touch 4
Tutorial
1) Connect our iDevice (with iOS 6.1) to the PC
2) Open Redsnow
3) Turn off the iDevice (connected to the PC) and put it into DFU mode
4) Once the iDevice is detected in redsnow, click on extras
5) Click on select ipsw
6) We select iOS 6.0, which we must have downloaded.
7) Once the iOS is detected and accepted, we click back and then JAILBREAK
8) After loading the toolbar, click the INSTALL CYDIA option (ONLY)
After clicking "Next," we wait for everything to load… The device will restart after the process is complete.
9) Reconnect the iDevice to redsnow in DFU mode
10) Once detected, go to extras, select ipsw and select ios 6.0 (again)
11) After detecting the iOS, we must click JUST BOOT
Once finished, the device will restart and be ready to use.
