Apple's micro-LED display technology has received high praise.

LCD screens have been one of the technological advancements that has changed the focus of various battery-powered electronic devices, but lately, display experts have been paying attention to a new technology— one that until recently had been largely ignored — called LEDs. Apple, being one of the pioneering technology companies of the 21st century, has promoted several display technologies used in many devices, such as the LuxVue displays, which had previously been considered for their micro-LED screens. But now, an industry expert believes that micro-LED technology could replace current LCD screens and even supersede the OLED displays that were created for the Apple Watch.

But despite being considered the future of displays, the truth is that micro-LED panels have not yet been implemented in Apple products. This new technology could usher in a new decade of displays, where devices could boast a much more powerful screen. The technology was even being implemented by LuxVue (a company acquired by Apple last year), and with their help, Apple could distribute micro-LED displays on a massive scale. However, many experts believe that micro-LED technology is not suitable for devices that require high-power displays, such as iPhones (because they cannot manufacture display panels), but for smaller devices, like the Apple Watch, the micro-LED display could be ideal. Currently, Apple Watches use OLED displays because they help extend battery life.

At the moment, it is unknown what Apple will do to implement the new screen technology, because the Apple Watch launch was recent and changing the screen would mean that customers would have to replace their Apple Watch with OLED technology with one with LED technology.
