"Lima" New alternative to Cydia Coming soon

Hello iPhone users, now there appears to be a new alternative to the great Cydia store, called "Lima," which will be a browser-based alternative.

 

The jailbreak development team, called the Dev Team, says the new installer package will be fully functional from Mobile Safari and allow users to install unauthorized apps and tweaks, just like in Cydia.

Lima will be a dpkg-based installer. All you have to do is visit a website in Safari and you'll have a fully functional package installer!

The Dev Team recently released a version of Icy, a Cydia alternative from Rip Dev, which hasn't been in development for some time. Icy was a fast, lightweight way to install packages that many users preferred over Cydia. We're not exactly sure how the technology behind Lima works or when it will be available, but things seem to be working as described.

 

So, iPhone users, a new alternative to Cydia will soon be presented, which is sure to delight more than one.
