Developers can now download the first beta of OS X 10.8.2 with Facebook integration

Today Apple released the first update to the new OS X Mountain Lion operating system . The new OS X Mountain Lion beta 10.8.2, which focuses on Messages, Facebook, Game Center, Safari, and Reminders, is also now available to Apple developers .

 

This version could arrive at the end of October and will be the first to integrate Facebook into the system, similar to how Twitter is currently integrated. This will allow us to share content from many of the main apps, such as Safari and Preview , and will give Facebook a dedicated space in the Notification Center, from where we can also directly post whatever comes to mind. While this feature may not be universally appreciated, it will undoubtedly be welcomed by its 955 million users.
