The Secrets of iSlate
I know that in recent days everything surrounding the iSlate has been stronger than ever, and that in one way or another the myths and possibilities offered by this new tablet are increasing, with each one adding another spark of interest and novelty. Now, it is believed that Apple is secretly working with Verizon for the sale and production of this new product.
But why is Apple working with a company that hasn't yet hit rock bottom? Does Apple want to take advantage of this and acquire it? It's unknown.
What is certain is that the price of this product through Verizon will be even lower than the direct sale from Apple, with an estimated subsidy of $200 less… about 2,600 Mexican Pesos… and requiring a two-year data plan of around $60 per month… about 680 Mexican Pesos… Apple is expected to sell this new product for $800 without any subsidy… giving it a value of 10,400 Mexican Pesos.
Apple is expected to unveil the Tablet next week and make it available for sale in March, although the release date could be delayed until June due to component supply shortages.
In addition to the expected inclusion of a docking station for the iSlate, this could be a key feature for consumers who have a lifelong love for keyboards. For those dissatisfied with touchscreen typing, a docking station for keyboard and mouse would be a welcome addition.
And it is speculated that, with Verizon's help, this product may have 4G connectivity, which currently reaches speeds of up to 150 Mbps. Some telephone companies are already working with this great network; some of them are:
- Movistar
- Vodafone
- Orange
- Telstra
- Telefonica
- Staff
- Telecom
- Clear
- Nextel
