Mac OS X Lion is available today in the Mac App Store.

Finally, today we can enjoy the new Mac OS X Lion operating system. This new OS has many iOS features and takes full advantage of multitouch. It is now available for download in the Mac App Store.

To upgrade to Lion you need to have Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Before upgrading, it is recommended to back up everything you have. Lion only takes up 4GB.

I've already tried several Lion betas and the developer preview, and I really liked it. It looks like a cleaner and much more functional system with Mission Control and LaunchPad. Keep in mind that many of your installed applications might not work; hopefully, all applications will become compatible little by little.

To use Mac OS X Lion you will need this:

Core 2 Duo, Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 or Xeon processor
Minimum 2 GB of RAM, 4 GB of RAM is recommended since OS X Lion runs on 64 bits

The price is what you'll like most! It only costs $29.99
