12-inch MacBook production delayed

In June of this year, sources close to Apple's supply chain stated that the new 12-inch MacBook Air would begin mass production in the third quarter of 2014.

Today the situation has changed dramatically, following the revelation that the manufacturing of this new Mac laptop is experiencing difficulties in balancing performance and versatility . This challenge is reportedly forcing the company to use an Intel Broadwell 14-nanometer processor.

The new MacBook Air will be released in 2015.
