Microsoft will launch Flow, a chat and email client for iOS

Although we have many email client options available, and Outlook has also been updated for iOS , Microsoft doesn't want to limit itself to just this option, so they could launch a new alternative that could essentially work alongside Outlook.

The article published on ZDNet claims that Microsoft is working on a new, somewhat " light " platform called " Flow ," which will also be coming to iOS. Information on the Flow download page suggests it could be a Messenger-style email client where conversations can flow very smoothly and users can switch between Flow and Outlook while continuing the same conversation.

Furthermore, Flow appears to be a distraction-free option, focusing solely on the conversation, leading ZDNet to believe it could be similar to Skype's Qik . Microsoft has confirmed that Flow will make its debut on iOS . Microsoft recently brought Outlook to iOS , featuring a redesigned Acompli-based email client.

The news was published via Twitter, where some of the features that Flow includes are shown with a download link to the tool, but it redirects to a type of registration like Outlook email , which is protected by credentials.

Despite making the tool public, Microsoft has not mentioned any further details about this chat and email application for iOS.
