Apple's new patent: system that generates a wireless charging field

Hello iPhoneate friends, this time I want to share with you a system that Apple could introduce someday that allows its mobile devices to charge without being plugged in, according to a recently discovered patent.

The patent application – titled “Use of Wireless Power in a Local Computing Environment” – describes the use of near magnetic field resonance (NFMR) power transmission to charge the batteries of compatible devices within a 1-meter radius. Apple’s system could eliminate cables, but we have a strong suspicion that it will be for the exclusive use of its own products.

A new use for NFC
The wireless technology that is proposed to be used is the well known NFCThis device, which appears to be used not only for transmitting data between nearby devices but also as a potential future standard for power transmission, could function similarly to the charging methods used by other companies that manufacture wireless keyboards or mice.

 The reality for iPhone users is that if this patent were to come to life, we would save a lot of resources on purchasing batteries for wireless keyboards and mice, in addition to the conveniences that this would represent.
For now, all we can do is wait to see what Apple has up its sleeve.
