Dropbox has been one of the most prominent services for hosting any type of file in the cloud from mobile, the web, on the computer, but especially with some of the other applications where it has been integrated such as Office for iOS.

The Dropbox team has now brought new features to its iOS app, including the ability to comment and mention. A new " Recent " tab has been added, dynamically displaying recently used files, such as edits, uploads, etc.

It's also possible to comment on files from the web or the iOS app (version 3.9). If that still surprises you, Dropbox is also announcing a new feature coming in the next few weeks that will allow you to create Office documents , in various formats, directly within the iOS app.

These comments can also be disabled for each file by simply clicking on " options " within the application. In the same comments area, mentions can also be made using only the Dropbox username or the email address used for registration.

But the new features for Dropbox on iOS don't end there. Users who have 1Password installed will see an option to use both apps together to open their vault directly from Dropbox.
