Perpetuall, completely redesigned
Perpetuall, the contact storage app created by a Bilbao-based startup, was updated a week ago. They identified shortcomings in our contact lists and have been working to fix these problems.

They explain that over 30% of our saved contacts change their numbers every year, which is a problem that needs addressing, as it becomes more problematic the longer it goes on. They can also be deleted without you noticing if you lend your phone. As seen in this video, produced by the company:

Normally, when you create a new contact in your address book, you'll almost never, if ever, change it. The problem arises when someone moves, changes jobs, or goes to a different country. If they don't notify their contacts, they'll continue using the old information, and all contact will be lost.
Perpetuall has found a way to keep all information up-to-date, while still allowing each user to manage their own data. Like many apps, when you first launch it, it asks for phone verification by sending a message to your phone number and creating an account linked to your email address. This way, there's no problem with duplicate or fake contacts.
Perpetuall, its redesign and new features
This app aims to make it easier for you to keep your contacts updated without replacing your default address book. This latest update focuses on improving the user experience on iPhones. It abandons HTML5, creating a native app that leverages the iOS design language.
It allows you to manage up to 15.000 different contacts and adds your own profile picture. The account creation process has been simplified. This new version offers five menus:
- News: The changes produced in any contact are grouped together.
- I: Store all the dice you want to show to your contacts and keep them updated.
- Bakcup: It gives us the option to create a backup of our contacts, so they can restore them whenever they want.
- Settings: Log out or change password.
- Invitations to send to other contacts to register on Perpetuall
