Pod2G demonstrates how Greenpois0n works on iPhone 4 iOS 4.1
Hello iPhone enthusiast, it turns out we now have an image of this Grenpois0n tool in action on your iPhone 4. As you may recall, Pod2G is the creator of the exploits that will allow jailbreaking on iOS 4.1.
Remember that Greenpois0n is a tool designed to help find new exploits and vulnerabilities affecting Apple products and new firmware. The latest pod2g exploit will allow for a jailbreak. tethered for all devices with Apple's new iOS 4.1.
The fact that Greenpois0n works on the iPhone 4 is very positive and significant. Between the two types of exploits, the untethered one is definitely the one we want most, so this one, which is still tethered, should be able to become untethered. Greenpois0n's image shows the progress they are making on jailbreaking iOS 4.1. However, P0sixninja already has another exploit (located in the boot sector), which would allow an untethered jailbreak for at least one firmware version: pod2g's exploit doesn't depend on the bootrom and therefore cannot be blocked by Apple with a firmware update, unlike posixninja's second exploit, which, being located in iBoot, can be blocked by a firmware update.
There's probably still a lot to do before the official launch, so it won't happen anytime soon, but we're confident that when the next jailbreak tool is ready, we'll be looking at one of the best programs, which will also guarantee maximum security for users, preventing any problems whatsoever.
