Production of the 4,7-inch iPhone 6 will begin in May

After images allegedly showing the design process of Apple's next iPhone were leaked, a recent report indicates that Apple is about to begin mass production of its new 4,7-inch iPhone 6 in early May.

This leads us to assume that the rumored large-screen device will be launched much sooner than its larger 5.5-inch version.

This confirms that both new devices will have a larger screen, compared to their brand new iPhone 5S which has a 4,0-inch screen.

However, we should mention that this new line of devices has presented the company with some challenges. Mass production of these large screens requires significant touch panel cell technology . For these reasons, they have begun production of the 4,7-inch iPhone.

Similarly, production of the 5,5-inch screens for the next iPhone is expected to begin in June. Apple will leverage the expertise of Japanese company Sharp and South Korean company LG to manufacture these screens for its upcoming devices as quickly as possible.
