The next iPhone 6S will reportedly improve its front camera with 5MP.

We're just under a week away from what is sure to be the most important event for Apple and its millions of users. After the revelation and anticipation of a new device, we're all eagerly counting down the days to see what Apple will announce at its event on September 9th.

And as usual every year, news begins to leak and be revealed around this time, shortly before Apple confirms its new products and operating systems for 2015.

That's why a new report issued today by KGI details upcoming expectations and unconfirmed information regarding the arrival of the iPhone 6S . Essentially, the report reveals that Apple will soon present a new device featuring a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The report also suggests that the device's rear camera likely won't have a sapphire-covered lens. This is because the new device failed drop and durability tests.

And although Gorilla Glass sapphire screens are much more resistant to scratches, one of the most common disadvantages of this material is that they are much more fragile; this leads to a greater risk of breakage whenever the device's lens is bumped or dropped.

On the other hand, other specifications expected for the still uncertain iPhone 6S are similar to those we've already announced. The new device will have an initial storage capacity of 16GB , which will gradually increase to 128GB, a 12MP rear camera , and the integration of Force Touch technology. Finally, a new Rose Gold color option will also be available.
