Range, the smart kitchen thermometer
If you're one of those people who love to cook even if you're not a master chef, don't worry! Today we're introducing an iOS widget called Range . Range is a smart thermometer that connects to an app installed on your iPhone to send you data such as the temperature of what you're cooking and the time remaining until it's ready.
This app will be especially useful for those forgetful people who can't wait for food to cook , as it will send an alert to your iPhone letting you know when the meal is ready. So, if you're restless and like to tidy up the kitchen while the food is cooking, you can do just that and wait for the notification on your phone.
Range will read temperatures in both Fahrenheit (ºF) and Degrees (ºC) with really accurate precision and will display them in a graph on our mobile phone to see the progress and temperature variation in the food.
Furthermore, Range will also be a valuable tool for sparking young people's interest in cooking. It will be a wonderful way to teach our children to cook more accurately. Technology is increasingly present in our lives, so why not use it to generate interest among young people?
There are two Range variants available right now:
- Range Embers which has a pointer designed to measure the temperature of meats
- Range Water which has a rounded tip perfect for purees or liquid foods
