El RedSn0w 0.9.15b1 It allows you to restore to iOS 5, which is for users who are on iOS 5 and want to restore to the same version or a 5.xx version. It also includes a Tethered Jailbreak for iOS 6 for devices with A4.

Compatible devices:

iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS (Untethered if it's an older Backroom)
iPod Touch 4G

Restore from any iOS 5.x to any other (upward, downward, or to the same) iOS 5.x on all devices, as long as you have the correct SHSH blobs.
Cydia is now included in the tethered jailbreak 6.0 on A4 devices
Automatically "Just Boot" Tethered upon qualifying A4 device connects in DFU mode
UnTethered 6.0 jailbreak on 3GS old bootrom
Untethered 6,0 activation on any iPhone 4 or 3GS
Directly restoring A5 devices to the previous firmware is no more complicated than 15 steps, avoiding iTunes errors and "hosts file" concerns.
Search for new Blobs signed by any IPSW (present or future – updating redsn0w is not required) using Extras-> Blobs-> New SHSH
Block BB updates for any iPhone 4 or 3GS when restoring (past, present, or future – no redsn0w update required) using Extras->Even More->Restore
Deactivating any iPhone is useful for verifying its "official" unlock status via iTunes. (Please only deactivate your own iPhone!)
Activation status
Significantly greater (very nerdy) information returned by "identifying" the button when the device is in Normal mode
Tethered ATV2 jailbreak support (but the only thing available for it is the custom SSH2 package available here - Cydia should not yet use "Select IPSW" for tethered ATV2 boot for now).
Auto-exit DFU mode for older devices with broken buttons
Each time it goes to fetch a remote set of blobs (from Apple or Cydia), redsn0w also saves them locally (and will first check if you need to click on "Local").
For your convenience and future restoration, you should also submit all your past and present TinyUmbrella drops to Cydia if you haven't already done so. Submitting is fine and won't cause any conflicts.
