Repeat Memory Free 2.6.5
Hello iPhone users, Repeat Memory Free is a utility that uses a script and algorithm to free up memory on your iPhones and iPod Touches whenever necessary, without you having to do it yourself. It works in conjunction with SBSettings. In this latest version, which is still in beta, minor bugs have been fixed, pop-up messages have been disabled and replaced with messages in the Status Bar, and the algorithm it uses has been changed. Remember that it is still in beta.

Note: This version and the one found in Cydia are different; this one is not yet available in the Xsellize repo.
Some Tips:
- The white icon indicates that the script is running in normal mode; the red icon indicates that the script is activating free memory.
- You can change the minimum and maximum values of the options in /System/Library/PreferenceBundles/RepeatMemoryFreeSettings.bundle/. In the "RepeatMemoryFree.plist" file you can see the minimum and maximum values there (iPhone 3GS owners can change the "threshold" value to maximum).
- In the settings menu, when you press apply changes, a black screen will open; then there will be 2 icons that indicate the status of the daemon and the script.
- Launchdaemon Interval: This option is used to define the interval at which the script runs. The higher the value, the less battery drain, but the response time to commands will decrease. (It won't free up memory quickly.) A typical value can be between 40 and 60 seconds.
- Trigger CPU usage: This option lets you control when the script will run. The normal value is 15-25%. If set too low, the script won't run until you use resource-intensive applications like games.
- Triggering memory drop: This value tells the repeat free memory script that a RAM loss is occurring, so it can activate. The normal value is 5 MB.
Now, many were wondering why previous versions of Reapeat Memory Free weren't working for them. This is because this utility works with other dependencies that we must have on our iPhones & iPod Touches. I'll list them here, indicating which ones you already have by default and which ones you need to install from Cydia.
Dependencies:
- springboardaccess – Already included when jailbreaking.
- cycript – Download it from Cydia if you don't have it, source is already included in Cydia.
- Bourne-Again Shell (bash) – Included when jailbreaking, if you don't have it for some reason install it from Cydia, source already included.
- erica utilities – http://apt.modmyi.com/
- preference loader – Already included when jailbreaking
- webviewcontroller – http://apt.modmyi.com/
- adv-cmds – Already included when jailbreaking
- coreutils-bin – Already included when jailbreaking
