Apple's Q2 fiscal report: Here are the numbers

After it was announced a few months ago, and even earlier today we mentioned a little about the information we expected this afternoon regarding Apple's fiscal data from the second report of the year , the numbers have now been published.

To begin with, the figures continue to exceed the expectations of expert analysts and even Wall Street . Apple has reported revenue of $58.01 billion, primarily due to iPhone sales.

In the second fiscal quarter of the year, 61 million iPhones were sold, which is 4 million units above analysts' expectations. Sales in China were also very successful, increasing by 72% compared to the same period last year.

The company has also sold 12,623 million iPads and 4,563 million Macs, although the report doesn't break down sales by model. Revenue from other services like the iTunes Store, Mac App Store, Apple Pay, and AppleCare has brought in nearly $5 billion , while Apple TV and iPod sales are approaching $2 billion.

As we can see, Apple is no longer providing detailed information about the iPod, even though a new rumor is already circulating about the possible arrival of a new generation of this device this year.

Furthermore, as expected, the company hasn't mentioned anything about Apple Watch sales and revenue . They've likely considered that the product has only been on the market for a short time and that it might be announced at WWDC in June.
