How can I restore my iPhone that's locked with an invalid password if I have Find My iPhone enabled?

I have Find My iPhone enabled, and when I go to the iCloud page to remove it, it won't let me because the phone needs to be connected to the internet. I can't connect to Wi-Fi because, since the iPhone is locked, it won't even let me open Control Center. I clicked "Remove Device," but I'm supposed to wait for a confirmation email, and I haven't received it. I don't know what to do. Thank you for your help.
