partial download of photos

Hi, I'm having a problem with my iPhone: it's not downloading all the photos to my computer. I have 230 photos, and it's only downloading 20. When it starts downloading videos, I get a download error. Also, a circle appears at the bottom of the screen as if the photos are loading…
From what I saw in a comment on an article, someone else is having the same problem as me, but they didn't ask here. My iPhone is a 5c with iOS 8.3, obviously without jailbreaking.
I'm hoping someone can help me because this is really bothering me and I'm also wasting memory space.
