Problems with the Wi-Fi on my iPhone 5

I bought a used iPhone 5, and when I get home and try to connect to Wi-Fi, it connects, but then after a while it disconnects. It keeps doing this all day, connecting and disconnecting. I don't know why. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
