I did that, and it prompts me to update and restore, which I also did, but at the end of the progress bar, I get errors 14, 48, and 1394. I've researched it, but I can't fix it. Now it's in DFU mode with a black screen. I was scared because it wouldn't turn on, but when I connect it to my PC, it says it's in DFU mode, and iTunes recognizes it but won't let me do anything. Could you advise me? I have a new, original cable; I updated it with RSO, so I've ruled out the cable. I would appreciate your help because I had a 3GS a while back, and this forum is great because I learned a lot here.
