I have an iPhone 5s 16GB iOS 7 with a Pangu jailbreak.
It's as simple as adding a calendar to the notification center. To clarify: I don't have any events created in the native calendar; I just want to be able to see the calendar in the notification center. It's that simple.

Use the "Calendar for notification center" tweak. Once you have it installed, just activate it in Settings/Notification center (it appears as "calendar widget pro").
