I bought an iPhone 4 and a few weeks later it was reported stolen. Can I remove that theft report?

Of course you can remove it. You have to go to the phone company and bring the device and the purchase receipt (also an official ID) and they will be able to remove the IMEI lock.

Well, I was told that an rsim can boost the signal, but I've never tried it. Good luck, and if you decide to check it out, let me know how it goes.

If it's not blocked by the Cloud, it's possible.
