Supported4 1.4-1 View your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch on your TV using generic cables

by @iPhoneate / February 28, 2011 12:02 AM EST

Hello iPhone users, this tweak allows you to use generic (non-original) AV cables to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to your TV and view your device's screen on the television and other devices. This update, compatible with iOS 4.2.1, adds support for VLC and enables Video Out. It's a paid tweak in the Cydia Store, but you can find it for free in the iPhoneate repo.

Requirements:

  • You need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch with iOS 4 or later, jailbroken. If you don't know how:
  • Add the iPhoneate repo to Cydia:

  • Search and download Ressuported4

To make the connection, simply install Resupported4 on your device, register it from settings, and connect your generic AV cable from your device to the TV.
