Delay in the release of iOS 5 Beta 6
by / August 11, 2011 7:24 PM EDT
The file found in the iOS 5 beta, which reveals the release dates of subsequent betas, is not static and Apple can modify it at will. This has been demonstrated by the iCloud team, who observed that the sixth iOS 5 beta, initially scheduled for August 17th, has now been delayed by another day.
Reasons for the delay? We don't have details, although the fact that Apple can modify this file at will makes us think that there may be more delays before the arrival of iOS 5 – beta 6.
