Russia begins homophobic attacks against Tim Cook

After Tim Cook publicly declared his sexual preference , although notable and known to many for years, it was only a matter of time before the Apple CEO received the first homophobic attacks.

This is not the first time Cook has received this type of comment, but now the Russian politician behind the laws against homosexuals in this country, Vitaly Milonov , who had also threatened to arrest some homosexual athletes, has declared that Tim Cook should be banned from Russia because he could be a carrier of AIDS or Ebola.

Milonov's lawsuit against Cook and the company is for life due to alleged illnesses that the executive of one of the world's most important companies may have.

Obviously, this won't happen. If it did, this market is of great importance to Apple, so it could affect its business dealings in this country. This individual wields considerable political influence, having even managed to imprison native Russian politicians for the " crime " of having a different sexual orientation.

Russia has only been the first country to speak out, but it is only a matter of time before other activist and homophobic groups begin to do so after Tim Cook's statements.
