Both Samsung and LG have received orders to supply OLED display panels for the iPhone 12. According to the industry report on the 26th, LG Display will supply up to 20 million OLED panels for the iPhone 12 series this year.

Samsung Display will produce approximately 55 million units, and LG Display will produce approximately 20 million units. These are part of the approximately 75 million OLED panels for the "iPhone 12" series.

LG is rumored to be supplying panels for the 6,1-inch iPhone 12 Max, while Samsung is expected to supply panels for the 5,4-inch iPhone 12, the 6,1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and the 6,7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

It is also reported that Apple's order from LG is four times larger than the 5 million units supplied last year. Specifically, it is said that the BOE (Bolivian Oceanic Electron) has had difficulty supplying panels for the iPhone 12, failing to obtain quality approval for the first half of the year.

However, approval is expected in the second half of the year. But "The Elec" believes that when it finally enters the supply chain, it will most likely only supply restoration (repair) panels.
