Apple updates the MacBook Pro Retina Display
Apple has updated the MacBook Pro with a Retina display and fourth-generation Intel Core processors .
The person in charge of announcing this news was Phil Schiller , who took to the stage to talk about the new Macs.
His exact words were: "We've made a better Pro laptop for the world by adding a processor that will add more performance to the computer, and longer battery life ," according to Philip Schiller – Apple 's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing.
Prior to the launch of the new MacBook Pro , a review of the new MacBook Air was given , but the spotlight was on the MacBook Pro . These will now be available in 13-inch and 15-inch versions, updated with the latest Intel processors to improve performance and battery life.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is said to be thinner and lighter. It also features a Haswell chip , a 2,6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor , and a battery life of up to 9 hours.
This new MacBook Pro will sell for no more than $1299.
On the other hand, the 15-inch MacBook Pro will feature an 8-hour battery life (one hour more than the current model) and an Intel CrystalWell processor . It will be available for $1999, $200 less than the current model.
Apple 's new , updated MacBook Pros are now available at the Apple Store online and at retail stores, which include Mavericks.
