Tickets for Apple's WWDC 2013 are sold out!

That's right, another year has passed and this one has brought resounding success for WWDC 2013, as its more than 5000 tickets that went on sale this morning sold out in two minutes; which demonstrates the incredible and growing interest of developers in the platform.

It took just two minutes for WWDC tickets to sell out. Apple sold out all the tickets for its annual developers conference in just minutes, overcoming the low attendance figures of last year, which saw a record-breaking two-hour sell-out.

There's no doubt that this year, Apple has broken an unprecedented record. It's worth noting that access to purchase tickets for WWDC is quite limited. To buy one of the tickets Apple is selling, you must be a member of the iOS Developer Enterprise Program or the Mac Developer Program.

Furthermore, the purchase of these tickets is limited to one per person and five per organization. Therefore, the same credit card can be used a maximum of five times when purchasing tickets for your organization. In other words, Apple has a system in place to control the sale of these tickets.

Each ticket to WWDC costs $1599, about €1199 at the current exchange rate, so it's also something to keep in mind for developers who want to attend the more than 100 sessions led by Apple engineers, get help from Apple experts through a wide range of lab exercises, or attend the opening keynote, perhaps the most anticipated event for the press and users alike.
