It's confirmed that iTunes 11 will arrive in the coming days

Apple is preparing to launch the highly anticipated iTunes 11 "in the coming days ," as evidenced by an email the company is sending to all record labels and artists who have material in the iTunes Store.

The changes requested in this email affect image quality; from now on, all images must have a resolution of 1200x1200 pixels. Additionally, album artwork will be given greater prominence, and artists will be allowed to upload a photo gallery. The process of gathering all this information may have contributed to the delay in the release. iTunes 11 will have a complete redesign and seamless integration with iCloud.

It's November 22nd and the new iTunes is scheduled to launch before the end of the month, so now we just have to wait for the iTunes 11 update to be officially available; we imagine the new version of Apple's player will be available early next week.
