A new iPad Air model with Touch ID is introduced.

Images have just been released showing what appears to be a final mockup of the new iPad Air. However, these images wouldn't be relevant to us if it weren't for the fact that this new model incorporates the innovative Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

This iPad Air concept takes into account all the physical characteristics that have been discussed regarding this upcoming new device. Therefore, we see that this new iPad Air features certain visible modifications.

One of these changes, as we already mentioned, is the implementation of the Touch ID function. It was also observed that the volume control buttons have been moved to the right side of the device. Meanwhile, the power button has been kept in its original position.

As a reminder, according to some recent reports, the new iPad Air will feature the same design but with an upgraded A8 processor. It was also indicated that the new Apple device will have an improved 8-megapixel camera.

As we've already mentioned, the launch of the new iPad Air is expected to lower the price of the iPad mini with Retina display. However, despite numerous indications surrounding this new device, the exact date of the official iPad launch remains uncertain.
