You can now hide Apple Music in iTunes and iOS when you're not using it
For those who don't use Apple Music because their free version has expired and they have no future plans to pay for the service, it's now possible to hide Apple Music from iTunes on a Mac product and the Music app that comes on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches.
This information is provided to help those who no longer have this service continue listening to music separately without any problems. Of course, if you already have this service, hiding Apple Music is not recommended, as doing so will disable the streaming service.
Steps to open the Apple Music app
If you're interested in hiding Apple Music, first of all you need to be aware of what you need to do to perform this procedure ; it's actually quite simple if you know how to do it.
You can hide Apple Music in iTunes and iOS if you don't use it.
The following instructions will explain in a very simple way how to hide Apple Music:
1.- Go to the iOS settings app and enter where it says “Music” or “Music” if your device is in English.
2. Open the “Apple Music” tab and disable the “Show Apple Music” option.
3. Exit the settings and go directly to the “Music” application to see the change.
The changes you will notice when performing this procedure will be the disappearance of the “New”, “For You”, “Connect”, and “My Music” tabs. If the computer is in Spanish, the options are translated as “Mi música”, “Nuevo”, “Para ti” and “Conectar”. By doing this, you will be able to bypass the restrictions that Apple has in its operating system and save music from other sites.
The following are instructions for hiding Apple Music in iTunes:
1. First, open iTunes, then go to the menu to choose the "Preferences" option.
2.- On the “General” tab, you will find the “Show Apple Music” option and press the box to deactivate it.
3.- Verify that the changes were made correctly by exiting the preferences menu.
This will make iTunes work as it did before the subscription service was released, so iTunes radio users will still be able to listen to the Beats1 channel even if Apple Music has been hidden.
